FORS Practitioner

FORS Practitioner awarded to our transport manager!

Congratulations are in order as the FORS Practitioner is awarded to our very own external transport manger Nick Wilson!

Nick’s efforts and dedication in achieving this milestone is certainly worth the recognition, as it enhances his personal development and our status within the transport and FORS community. After attending all FORS workshops, Nick has successfully completed the FORS Practitioner programme.

“I’m so glad I made the time to complete all 10 workshops. My boss Lucian and the team have been so supportive. Steve our trainer was brilliant and some of the credit has to go to him. I would recommend all transport managers to go for FORS Practitioner award, great for your CPD!”

What is FORS Practitioner?

FORS Practitioner is a series of ten workshops covering all aspects of fleet management. Designed to assist transport managers in their busy everyday roles, the workshops provide information needed to boost the performance of a transport operation.

The workshops can also help demonstrate professional development (as outlined in requirement D4 Professional Development of the FORS Standard), and help build your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, as for each workshop equals 2.5 CPD hours. Find out how to claim your CPD hours here.

fors re-audit

We have passed our FORS re-audit!

Great news! We have just passed our FORS re-audit.

A year on and we have just heard the awesome news that we have just passed our FORS re-audit.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators. With over 4,500 members, FORS is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance. FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for those organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements.

FORS accreditation drives best practice across the European fleet industry in terms of safety, efficiency and environmental protection. It also offers guidance and training to help operators attain the Standard.

With the help of our External Transport Manager Nick from TMconsultant.co.uk we're very happy to contribute to Safer Roads in London.
